Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a family of musicians. Her early years were spent listening to classical music, old boleros, and the traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana loves tangos, operas and other theatrical performances. After singing with her mom, she started more serious training in singing at 16 under the guidance of renown Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. The beginning of her professional career included performances with a variety of orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs in Guadalajara. When she moved to America, United States, she performed as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002 she moved to Southern California. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private events and also as part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. She is involved with many local projects in both teaching and performer because of her love for art and music. Ana is a previous member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Chorale for their permission to play classic Latin American song.
